Visited with my nieces yesterday

Baylee, Layken and Landen (twins were born July 28th to Allison)

this is Allison with Landen.

This is Ashley and Mason. Ashley is due in August with number 2. She won't tell anyone what she is having!

This is Stephanie with Layken, Stephannie is having a girl around April 10th.

Chrissy and I took jacob and Baylee to visit some cousins yesterday. Allison has twins Layken (girl) and Landen (boy) and Ashlynn. Stephanie had 2 boys Lane and Cayden. And Ashley has on little boy named Mason. It was a noisy few hours but fun to see all the kids and the twins are growing like weeds. Landen crawls everywhere and Layken likes to sit and tries to crawl.

Easter Baskets!

Tues and Wednesday were basket weaving days! Back in the summer I had dyed some reed for Easter baskets. I asked Chrissy if she wanted to make baskets for Jacob and Baylee and she said YES! So with a little of help from me(supervisor stuff) she made 2 beautiful 10 inch, square bottom and round top, baskets. They are just beautiful. When Brittany comes up tomorrow we will be making 2 more for Kaidyn and Braylon. Chrissy also took the kids to see the Easter Bunny. Kaidyn was afraid of him. Jacob needed mommy for support!
Today was a good day...the sun was out and made me feel like I didn't ache as much. Had some chest pains, but took a nap, and felt better. I finished "Sweet Land of Liberty" by Lizzie Kate. I need to find some real tiny white buttons to put on it. I thought I had some but they are not small enough! Maybe I will feel good enough to go out to the store tomorrow.

Hit by the flu!

We have been hit by the OHIO CRUD! I came back to Ohio with Chrissy, Jacob and Baylee on the 9Th. While I was gone Kaidyn and Braylon got sick and Kaidyn had that Respiratory infection virus. When we got back to Ohio...all seemed OK...till Brittany got the flu and ended up in the hospital overnight, then Kaidyn got the flu and poor Chrissy and kids were staying there. So I told her she needed to come to my house and stay, to get away from the flu. So they came to my house on Thurs and then on Sat. Bethannie, Chrissy and the kids went back down to Brittany's to see their dad, who was coming up from Tenn to see the new babies. They came back home sat night and brought Kaidym with them cause her daddy got sick. Then Sunday night Bethannie was up with the flu! Just can't seem to get away from it! So far Chrissy and the kids have not gotten it yet. Jamie and her family are also sick with bad colds, so they aren't allowed to come and visit the kids either! This OHIO Crud is not a good thing.
On a bright side...I am showing Chrissy how to weave baskets and she made a 10" basket for Jacob yesterday and today she will be making Baylee's Easter basket.
I have been working on a Lizzie Kate stitch, but, not getting much done. Kaidyn reminded me the other day that I needed to stitch! I think 3 year olds are pretty darned smart! But with 2 three year olds (Kaidyn and Jacob) in the house and Baylee, a 5 month old, it is hard to find much time for that at the moment!. Till next time>>> Huggerz and stitches. laurel
