Trick or Treat with Kaidyn and Braylon

The day I have been dreading has arrived

Today was the day I got that call. CJ is flying out to meet up with his ship. yuck I hate that. He won't be home till spring! Please put him and all the military men and women, on your prayer chains. Have a great day stitching.

Here is a picture of Baylee and Jacob at a Fall Fest today in VA.

Lets see...I should probably start with Friday... Brittany and Brian came up with the kids to visit over the weekend and headed home this afternoon. I worked sat and had my work done so I had some time to stitch while my lady was napping. The only thing I did not do was crochet! I have been back stitching on the ABC Christmas Sampler...slow and steady....this is a huge piece! I was supposed to work today for 4 hours but my guy was ill so I didn't have to go in. I hope he feels better soon.

Curt came home from the hospital today ...he had been in there since Thursday night. I kept Jayson and Morgan Thursday overnight and then dropped them off to Jamie so they could get ready for school the next morning...on my way to work. Curt was very sick with flu symptoms (he did not have the flu) and was delusional and talking crazy. He was very dehydrated. He had a lower intestional and colon infection. It was very scary. But today he is feeling a bit better, but not totally better.

Today I went to the VFW for a 60Th birthday party for our Auxiliary President. Had a nice time and ran into a couple of ladies I haven seen for 8 years. We are planning to get together soon. We ate and had cake! November 7 I will be celebrating my big 54 birthday. I will be going down to Brittany's house next weekend, because, Kaidyn wants me to have my birthday with her. Kaidyn was upset that she didn't get an invitation to the 60th birthday party. Poor thing! lol

Well it is now quiet here, again...sometimes it's too quiet for me. All the kids are either home in bed or sleeping in the car on the way home. Brittany probably won't get home till 9:30PM tonight.

Jayson and Morgan were in bed by 7:30PM. And me? Still checking things out on the PC and watching the World Series. I need to get and put things together for work tomorrow so here's to a great week of stitching and crocheting for everyone! Have a blessed week! Laurel
