A Britter Kitty finish x 2

I finished my second Britty Kitty last night! Now I have to find Halloween fabric to finish them off. Hey Toni...one is for you to help you with your decorations for Halloween/fall. I know you think that having a real bat and 2 black cats is enough...but I thought you needed to add some orange!!!!

The pillow was stitched 2 years ago. There is just something about black cats and pumpkins...I love em!!!! Have a great evening....stitching huggerz laurel

A Cleveland Browns sweater finish!

Since I have been hooked on crochet for the past few weeks doing grandkids afghans, I thought i would be fun to try a Hexagon Granny Sweater for a baby.

So here is Miss Kelsey wearing it. It is a little big on her. I need to go to Joann Fabrics to find football buttons to put on it. I used the Cleveland Browns yarn so when she watches the football game she can be toasty! Hey Chrissy....would you like one for Baylee?! LOL This sweater is so ugly it is cute! Well off for now. I wasn't feeling to well yesterday and need to get something done today...maybe even a nap! Jamie wants me to come over to watch the Kelsey so she can start closing up the pool and I really need to get some x-stitching done. So have a good day stitching huggerz laurel

I am home from work!

Wow the last 48 hours sure seemed longer then it was. I was doing a stay at the home job. I sure am tired! You do not get very good sleep when you do these overnights. Anyway I left work at 6AM and came home, jumped in the shower and laid down for an hour.....then got up and went to an in-service. Now I am home and will be taking a much needed nap! lol I did get a few things done in the past couple days. I finished a "Steeler's" Granny Square baby blanket! Which by the way was hard for me to do cause I am a loosing Brown Fan!!!!!!! Get Romeo out of there!!!!!LOL

Then I finished the purple hat to go with the scarf. I now have Naosie (purple)and Rhyane's (pink) scarves and hats done and ready to go. I need to find some soft yellow to do Annie's. So Annie...I am going to find that this week.
I also got a bit of cross stitching done. But...not much.
And ........Kelsey came home from the hospital yesterday. She is feeling a lot better. Jamie stopped over this morning with her so I could see her before I went to the in-service. She of course cried when I held her....that baby and I have not bonded because she is a breast fed baby! She knows that I don't have the right equipment...and just does not like me. I hate that...cause I love babies!!!!!! Well off for now...need sleep! have a great day stitching huggerz laurel

Jacob's Cleveland Browns Afghan finish

Here is Jacob's "big boy" afghan to cuddle up in while watching TV. Jacob is 3 years old! His dad (my son) is an avid Cleveland Browns Fan. Well I am not so sure if he is today because the Browns lost to Baltimore! Anyway I think Jacob will love the afghan even if it is Brown and Orange! lol This afghan is 60" x 44".

Kelsey news: Kelsey was admitted to Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital last night with a high fever and other stuff. They think it is a bacterial infection in the stomach. They did a spinal tap today and found a heart murmur. They are going to do a sonogram on the heart tomorrow. She had an IV in her foot that made her foot swell and they started one in the hand. The poor thing is only 2 months old. We will know more tomorrow. They don't think it is spinal meningitis, but they are letting the culture grow to see what, if, anything is there. So prayers are very much needed for my little granddaughter.
