A LadyBug finish and OWL WIP!

Yesterday was a pretty good day in the crafting area. I finished Kelsey's LadyBug afghan and I finished all the stitching on the Christmas owl. I still have to finish the owl by adding the pom-poms for the ear muffs and adding google eyes. This morning I started on Lily's LadyBug afghan and I hope to get it done by Thanksgiving. So here are the results of yesterday!

Christmas Stocking Finish

Today I worked on Lil's Christmas stocking. I needed to put it together...and it turned out so cute. I am not sure if I am going to hand stitch trim around it as of right now. The trim I had bought does not look good on it now that it is put together. I will be starting on Addisyn's stocking tomorrow. Right now I have a date with an Christmas owl!

This is the batting I use to make my snowman ornaments....It really makes them look old. It is called Warm and White. They also have a Warm and Natural batting.

have a great day stitching.  huggerz laurel

Happy Halloween!

My-O-My where has the time gone...I feel like it was only yesterday that I said "Happy New Year" and here it is almost Thanksgiving! I guess I should have been update but the Blog got lost in the shuffle. so I will try to get it up to date. I have finished all the Cupcake ornaments for the grand kids and a one for Braylon's pre-school teacher. Finishing them was fun and it took several days to do them. I also stitched 3 Halloween ornaments and finished them up too.

 My first Biscornu!
I also took some time to stitch 3 ponchos for Baylee, Kelsey and Lily!
I am now gathering all the materials to finish the 2 cross stitch Christmas Stockings. I am also working on an OWL ornament and finishing up two ladybug afghan for Kelsey and Lily, and I am working on 5 snowmen for an ornament exchange in Dec!
Kelsey loves her poncho, she and Lily call them Nachos! Baylees and Lilys were blue.

Below are a couple more Market bags that I made...

This is my mom.....she passed away Sept 25, 2011...I will miss her greatly...she was my biggest critic when it came to stitching and crocheting and sewing. She is the reason I have the craft bug in me...she taught me when I was 7.  I will miss showing her my stitching. RIP mom

Well off so I can get some stitching done....Christmas is just around the corner! huggerz laurel
