Today I am going to focus on finishing my Christmas ornaments. It will be hard to do this with so many dishes that need to be washed and put away, and then there is the BIG GAME to watch! But I will try. LOL

Here is Kelsey ...ready to watch the game!

Then I may have to go to Kohls and buy one of these....I love this idea.

Finishing my Christmas Ornaments!

I started to finish my Christmas ornaments! What a great day! I want to get them all done by Sunday night! We shall see. Other then doing some odds and ends and puttsing around, I feel like I got a ton of things done today! Well off to bed for me. I have to sew the bottoms of the stuffed ornaments tomorrow and sew the others together when I get home from work. Have a great day stitching. God Bless our Military! huggerz laurel

Thank a soldier! Please send a card or two. Remember our Military!

This was sent to me from my daughter-in-law. What a great idea!

A Great Idea!! When you sit down to write your Christmas cards this year, please take one card and send it to the address below. If you pass this on to all your e-pals, and they pass it on to their e-pals, and 50% of the people who read this sends one card, think of how many cards will arrive at Walter-Reed Medical Center, and how it will affect all those soldiers, who have sacrificed so much, and are spending the Xmas Holidays in the hospital, sometimes far from their loved ones.

P.S. If you feel so motivated, send a 'phone' card with your Christmas card, and if you want to do this one better, send some cookies, or any other homemade goodies. You'll never believe the smiles this will bring to a service person who can't be home for the holidays.
Have a great day. God Bless our Military. Laurel

Baby it's cold outside.........

And I am loving it. Sorta, Kinda.... I thought I had better get a post done today to show everyone as to what I have been doing. Hats for kids!!!!!! Trees for soldiers! I also finished Kelsey's hat to match her sweater! Tomorrow I am going to start on finishing my ornaments! Yes I said I was going to start tomorrow. I know I have been saying this for weeks...but...since TONI has officially opened the Christmas season by decorating her house...I guess I had better get rid of the Bah Hum Bugs and get my stuff done! I am usually the one in the mood for Christmas season...but after being in Target yesterday and seeing all the Christmas decorations..and it's not EVEN THANKSGIVING...that just put me in the humbug mood! I do Christmas all year long....now it appears that the stores are going to do about the same thing! Oh well I will quit complaining and get busy. I just finished putting together one of the angels...yeah 1 down and 21 more to go!!!!! I also pressed the stockings and thinking that I may put some edging around them. In the picture the stockings had not been pressed yet. Have a great night. God Bless our Military. huggerz laurel

Happy Birthday Jayson and Morgan!

Just got done working the weekend and tomorrow I start the work week? Good thing I have most of the Christmas stuff stitched. I have stitched 23 Christmas ornaments....now I have to find the time to put them together! I had finished one way back in the year and it is on my tree!
I have crocheted 6 (I think) hats for kids and will be putting finishing touches on them this week. I will probably do some more this week. It sure gets cold here in OHIO! I love the snow! I hate below zero wind chills!

Today we had Morgan and Jayson's birthday party...Morgan is 6 and Jayson will be 6 tomorrow. Happy Birthday kids! They got lots of much needed clothes and webkins. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Have a great day stitching..I need to get some sleep. huggerz laurel
