IN VA!

My stitching friend Toni and I drove down to VA to visit my son and his family for the weekend! I left around 5:30pm and picked Toni up at 7:30pm and arrived in Portsmouth around 5:30am Friday. It was a long drive and ran into a thunderstorm around Washington and then it rained all the way down to Portsmouth. Then...on top of that ...they hide the exits down here so people can't find them...LOL Had a good trip down anyway! We went to "Dying to Stitch" cross stitch shop, in Virginia Beach, and found a few thing there (on Friday.) On Sat we went to Newport News to the Village Stitchery and found some more good stuff there!

We are having a good visit and have been doing some stitching too! I will take some pictures of my bounty and post them in a couple days. Well its back to stitching..... huggerz laurel

Christmas Stitching

Well my first ornament rolled off the needle last night. A Britty Christmas Kitty design by Brittercup Designs, that I had fallen in love with a couple years ago and I did 2 of them that year. There is just something I love about a black cat! I am still looking for the Pencil Santa ornaments and hope I find them sooner than later! So her is to the beginning of my Christmas stitching...may it stay with me all season long! I figure I will finish them all off in November, just in time to hang on the trees! huggerz laurel

This design was in the 10th Anniversary Collection of Just CrossStitch Christmas Ornaments 2006
