Lizzie Kate finish

Here is my Lizzie Kate finish. I started another Lizzie Kate yesterday "Sweet Land of Liberty, of Thee I Sing". Hope to finish that this weekend. Then I really have to get going on my Bride's Tree ornaments! Chrissy is here with the kids and we need to find a stocking for me to stitch for Baylee. so I will be going through lots of stash and looking on line for that special chart. I have to do one for Braylon too. Need to get my needles smokin!


March 29Th is the Cleveland Indians Baseball opener! I sure hope we don't get snowed out this year. Last year they couldn't play in Cleveland because of the snow! Toni has picked out a SAL for us to start for that...it is a baseball chart for the boys. Have to get my stuff together for that. I am going to get some fabric for the "Princess" pillows today. I did not have enough of the fabric that I had here. Darn! Just what I need...a trip to the fabric store! LOL I can never leave there with what I need...always find more. I should go back to work there and replenish my fabric! Well need to get going and start my day! Have a great and sunny day, and, stitch lots! huggerz laurel

Memorial not finished!

I am so behind! I didn't get the memorial finished. I forgot I had a VFW meeting to go to. I really need to get organized! I did work on a small Lizzie Kate "Long May She Wave". I had started it the other night when the Princess pieces were done. I want to get this done and on my Americana Tree. Maybe I will finish it tonight. Chrissy and the kids are coming up from Xenia today. They were at my youngest daughters for this week, but everyone is getting the flu there and I told her to come up today and then she can go back Sat. to see the grandfather (my ex) who is driving up from Tenn to see them. Brittany spent the night in the hospital on IV's and Kaidyn is real sick today. I figure if Baylee and Jacob get sick...they won't pass it back to Kaidyn and Braylon and Brittany....Lets keep our fingers crossed! Well need to get going and get my nap in! The kids are coming and they are only 3 hours away! huggerz and stitches laurel

Memorial is almost finished

Princess Pictures

These are the 2 Princess finishes that I did over the weekend. This was a freebie on Cyberstitchers.com. I am going to finish them like a knob knocker to hang on a shaker peg, with a pretty pink backing. I found out today that in July, my daughter is having a baby girl! That will make 4 granddaughters and 3 grandsons! Hum mm, I think one of the kids needs to even that number up!

Missed the snow!

I missed all the snow that we had 10 - 14 inches! I can't believe it! But when I got home yesterday...it was still here! Yes!
I did not get much stitching done..I got the soldiers name charted out, but not stitched on. I did stitch 2 little Princesses pieces...not finished yet, need to find some beads or charms for them.
My hands have been hurting like crazy...I guess they are just catching up with the rest of my body! I ache all the time. I will try to post some pictures later. Have a great day stitching on your heirlooms! huggerz laurel
