Kind of a slow week

Not much going on in the stitching department at the moment. I have been working on another baby blanket and doing a lot of babysitting for Jayson, Morgan and Kelsey. They are getting settled into a new home in the country and in order to avoid moving stuff...I said I would watch the kids. I wonder sometimes if I got the better deal? lol Kelsey is not a napper and you can not get anything done with her wanting to be held all the time. Maybe she will get on schedule after all the move is done and Christmas and New Years is out of the way. I am also working so sometimes I do not get home till after 9PM. Those are long days and really cut into stitching time!

I think I am almost done with Christmas. I have a few things that need to get sent out. Then next weekend Braylon will be turning 1 years old! Where has the time gone?

Well I need to get off the PC and do 3 things...finish my wash, eat some ice cream, and crochet. It is already 9:30PM, and as soon as the Cavaliers are done playing I am going to bed! Have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

Morgan and Kelsey's Christmas Stockings

Here are the last 2 stockings for this year.......ready to be hung by the fireplace with care.....the top 2 pictures are the backs of the stockings and the middle one is all the stockings for Jamie's family. I stitched all but the one that is far left. I still need to get cracking on Curt's stocking...but...I think it will have to wait till next year. Have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

Also ..you will find......on the right side of my page...scroll down to the the spot where I have listed some crochet links to blogs and different places that have patterns.

Baby blanket finish!

Can you believe that I finally got this one done? I am so excited! It would have been done a couple days ago but I have been babysitting Kelsey, Morgan and Jayson for a few days! Kelsey doesn't take long naps at all...20 minutes here...20 minutes there...you can not get a thing done when babies take short naps! lol So late last night I finished the blanket edging. This one is for Brittany's baby, she is due in Jan. I am now working on a pastel green, pink and white baby blanket....I just got started!

Tomorrow I pick up the last 2 stockings. Cherie just called and said they are ready. So Kelsey and Morgan will have their stockings to hang in their new house! Can't wait to see how they turned out! Well off for now...need to crochet some of this stress away that has been building for a few day. If I don't cross stitch or crochet I get real nervous! lol have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel
