A Sleeping Beauty finish

Here is "Sleeping Beauty" done and ready to frame. This one is for Kaidyn! Kaidyn and Addisyn have a princess room. I also have Cinderella to do for Addisyn. They are kits from Janlynn that I found at Pat Catans. I also found Mator and Lighting McQueen for Braylon...to do sometime this year!

Earlier today I got the frame finished for Brittany's "Always Kiss me Goodnight". The frame still needs another coat of matt finish. I hope to frame that piece this week!

Well off for now. I am going to start a Britty Kitty Christmas Ornament! Huggerz laurel

School

Here I am in class and on the computer.....what a day! We are writing resumes and I have had mine done for quite awhile, so I thought I would make a quick visit to my blog. I haven't been doing much in the stitching department this last week. My MOJO has been out of town for sometime now. I did put a few stitches into the Sleeping Beauty chart that I picked up a couple months ago....it should have been completed by now. I did buy a scrub top pattern that I liked and would like to make up a dummy model to see how it fits. Have no clue as to when I will do that. I am full of wanting to do this and that and seem to get nowhere. Well off for now. Have a great day stitching! Huggerz laurel

What a beautiful day!

It is beautiful outside! Jamie mowed my yard yesterday and Charlie weed-eated. Bethannie and Charlie finished putting new window blinds up on the porch (8 large windows)! Then Bethannie and Charlie pulled out some Rose of Sharon starts that started to grow too close to the porch. Charlies mom wanted some to plant. I am glad they will be put to good use. I love Rose of Sharon ...and so do the bees and humming birds! The rock garden grass is growing like crazy and so is my one Lily in the huge kettle.

I finished up some framing the other day. Jamie has been stitching like crazy! My fingers do not want to hold a needle very well today or I would be stitching instead of blogging! Good old arthritis has set in! This has kind of put a damper on my stitching!

Aunt Chrissy stitched this for Kelsey and I finally got it framed for her! Kelsey picked out the lavender paint.

This is the second one that Jamie has stitched of this chart. This one is for her inlaws. I painted and framed it for her. I love the color of the frame. It is a lighter color underneath with a darker color on top. I am trying to get the same results on another frame to frame my "Always Kiss me Goodnight".
Well off for now. Since my fingers hurt...I am going to pull out my study guides...maybe I can do a bit of studying...but..it won't be the same as stitching! huggerz laurel
