It is beautiful outside! Jamie mowed my yard yesterday and Charlie weed-eated. Bethannie and Charlie finished putting new window blinds up on the porch (8 large windows)! Then Bethannie and Charlie pulled out some Rose of Sharon starts that started to grow too close to the porch. Charlies mom wanted some to plant. I am glad they will be put to good use. I love Rose of Sharon ...and so do the bees and humming birds! The rock garden grass is growing like crazy and so is my one Lily in the huge kettle.
I finished up some framing the other day. Jamie has been stitching like crazy! My fingers do not want to hold a needle very well today or I would be stitching instead of blogging! Good old arthritis has set in! This has kind of put a damper on my stitching!
Aunt Chrissy stitched this for Kelsey and I finally got it framed for her! Kelsey picked out the lavender paint.
This is the second one that Jamie has stitched of this chart. This one is for her inlaws. I painted and framed it for her. I love the color of the frame. It is a lighter color underneath with a darker color on top. I am trying to get the same results on another frame to frame my "Always Kiss me Goodnight".
Well off for now. Since my fingers hurt...I am going to pull out my study guides...maybe I can do a bit of studying...but..it won't be the same as stitching! huggerz laurel
