Salem loves to play in the basket reed too!
This last weekend I dyed some basket reed to weave into Easter baskets. I used some cute colors and can't wait to get the baskets done....with a lot of help from my daughter Brittany. She wanted to do them this year and I plan on "helping" her! I have to teach them to weave so they can do this on their own when I can't help. So this Friday I am going to drive to S. Carolina, with my sewing machine and colorful basket reed, to see my daughter and her family. While I am there I am going to hem a pair of door panels and make a couple Cinderella pillow cases. Also on the agenda is to visit a cross stitch shop or 2 if there are any close by. Well off to study. I have 3 more days of classes and then I am on Spring Break!
