Congratulations to Aimee and Grandma Toni!

A big congratulations to Aimee and John on the birth of Wyatt. He was born around 5pm today and weighed in at 6# 10 oz. Aimee went into the hospital yesterday PM because she was in labor and lots of pain. They decided to deliver him today instead of waiting another week or so. Poor Amiee...didn't have anything to eat since yesterday! Congrats to Toni on grand baby #5. If you count up all her grandchildren and step grandchildren...she has 11. Hey Toni they are cheaper by the dozen.....which child is going to have the #12? lol huggerz and stitches laurel

Daylight Bulbs...way too expensive!

Why do they make these bulbs so darned expensive? Then when they have a sale on them ...they don't have them available? I bought a daylight lamp 4 years ago and the bulb melted the outside and blew out. Now to replace it I have to pay 25 dollars plus shipping! Went to the Joann's store when they had a sale and they didn't have the bulb! Just checked the on line stores and Joann's is out of stock and another store will ship it for 30 something! I think I am going to go back to my original light bulbs, that I have used for 30 years. I can go to any store and buy a new one anytime. I think I am getting too old to run around to different fabric stores and on top of all that the prices they want are way too high.
have a great day stitching...I am bulb less in OHIO laurel

Just stitching away!

Baylee modeling her new sweater made by me-maw!

Baby it's cold outside! But on the inside I am just stitching and crafting away! Yesterday I started finishing the last 2 Christmas ornaments and then I pulled out the baby sampler last night. I also read a couple of chapters in the Mary Higgins Clark Book my daughter brought home. I have also been going through patterns and charts trying to find something quick to stitch. Nothing has popped out at me as of yet. I did find a couple of charts that I bought in October and I will be adding them to my 2009 "to do" list. So...what is on your 2009 "TO DO" list? What are your goals next year? Are you going to finish UFOs? Do more exchanges? Stitch all those stockings for the kids and grand kids? Take up scrap booking? What ever you do...do it well and be happy while you do it! Have a great day stitching huggerz laurel

Just when you think you are done..I find another ornament to stitch! I made 2 of these...one for me and one for a dear stitching friend Toni. These will be finished this week into pin keeps.

Kelsey came home from the hospital tonight. She has a very important doctors appointment tomorrow. She needs to be put on a sleep monitor. The other night she turned blue and couldn't get her breath! They said it was a breathing episode. Then they took her to Rainbow Baby's and Children Hospital in Cleveland to monitor her when she sleeps. Not sure as to what they are saying...all I know is that she is home tonight and I will be on pins and needles till she is on the sleep monitor.
