Day 10 baby sampler progress

I only got half of the butterfly done yesterday. I had Morgan all day and then Jayson came when Morgan went home. Jayson wanted to watch the Cavs game with grandma and spend the night. Well the Cavs lost.....again.....and we went to bed right after the game! So not much stitching got done! Jayson got up at 7am and threw up. Then went back to bed till 9:30. He said his belly hurt. So today, is definitely a nap day for me!

The sun's out, but, it is still chilly. I kind of like the chilly, but, not damp chilly! I really dislike the hot, humid weather!

Chrissy: I hope things have calmed down where you live. I think it is time to move! Maybe to Ohio? hugs and love mom

Day 9 Progress on Baby Sampler and Baylee, cross stitch stash!

Here is my progress on the baby sampler. Just kind of moving right along.

Baylee is modeling her little sundress that I made for her...she is do adorable! I can't wait to see the kids in June! I am going to make her a Cleveland Indians outfit and hope to get it done before I go to VA.

Look what came in the mail yesterday!! A bunch of stash from Linda! I put a link in my "places I like to visit", so take a peek and see what she has to sell. It was my 1/2 birthday present to me! lol Now when I get time....... I will have some things to work on....I need to add them to my list!

Well off for now. It is cold and wet in OHIO. My joints can't handle the dampness. I am going to lie down till Morgan gets here and hope I feel better when I get up the second time! lol Have a great day stitching and crafting huggerz laurel

Day 8 stitching on the baby sampler and my 1/2 birthday!

I have stitched on this baby sampler for 8 days! I am thinking I will have it done this weekend. I will stitch the baby info in July! I can actually start looking for a frame and hope that Pat Catans will have what I need. If not...I will order a frame from Lori in VA. I love her frames and her prices!

Speaking of Pat Catans, my daughter-in-law gave me a $50.00 gift certificate, from there, for Mother's Day! Thank you so much Chrissy...love you guys! Then my daughter gave me a Yankee Candle in my favorite flavor, Buttercream, Since I am diabetic I can't have the sugar, but, I sure can surround me with the smell of it! Thank you Bethannie, love you!

Today is my 1/2 birthday! I kept telling my kids that my 1/2 birthday was coming up and they just laughed at me! I figure that after 50 years, we should be able to have 1/2 birthdays....you never know if you are going to make it to the real birthday and besides, I like presents!!!!! lol With me having so many health issues I figured a 1/2 birthday would be great!!! Well better luck next year...if I am still kicking! lol Now I can remind them of my real birthday coming up in November!

Let see...yesterday ...Morgan played with the sidewalk chalk and I planted sunflower seeds and old corn seed. I do hope they both come up! I plant the corn so I can have corn stalks in the fall. If it doesn't come up, Bethannie will get me some from Charlie's fields. As of Monday they had planted 300 acres of corn. I don't think they are done yet! I know he is out in the fields as I write this. A farmer does not get much sleep during planting season and harvest season! Monday evening when I was over there, he was going out to the field to pick up rocks with some kind of machine. In the old days, my sister and brother and I would follow my grandpa, who was on a tractor pulling a wagon, and picked up rocks out of the field. One good rock in the field can really bust up machinery when it is hit! Well enough for now. Have a great day stitching and crafting! laurel

Day 7 baby sampler progress

Yesterday was my 7TH day of stitching on the baby sampler. The border is on and I have now started to stitch on the inside of the squares. I am quit pleased with how well it is doing. I hope to get this done real soon, so I can start the Christmas stockings!

I have been going through charts looking for snowman charts for Autumn (my niece). She is wanting simple snowman charts for Christmas ornaments for her nieces and nephews. I have found quite a few that she may want to do.

well off for now. Have a great day stitching huggerz laurel

Day 6 of the baby sampler

Well Sunday was the 6Th day to stitch on the baby sampler. I think it is coming along just fine. I kind of got tired of stitching pink, for a few seconds and stitched one green leaf! lol I hope to finish the pink soon, then I can start stitching in the squares.

Jamie and Jayson stopped by yesterday. I took a picture of her and the belly with Jayson. Jayson is the clown of the family!

Day 5 progress on baby sampler

Here is my progress I made yesterday on the baby sampler. I thought I would be further ahead, but, didn't really get much done till Morgan went home. Then I decided to move my computer desk to another spot. That took time and elbow grease!

We had some severe thunderstorms yesterday. I was real happy that we didn't loose power. Today it is sunny and cool out. My neighbor mowed my yard...thank you Melissa!
I have some errands to run...like grocery shopping! I really hate to use the gas in my car, have no choice, unless I can walk several miles! That is not an option.
