Welcome little Maylee

Here is a picture of Maylee. She is the newest baby of our family. She belongs to my niece and her daddy and 2 big brothers. Look at all that hair! She weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and was 18 inches long! What a cutie. I went to see her last weekend and forgot my camera! huggerz laurel

Home Sweet Home

Here is the ABC Christmas sampler WIP. I still have a ways to go, and will be putting it down so I can start the baby sampler and 2 Christmas stockings. Speaking of stockings...the material was here when I got home! I have no excuse of not getting these done this year. I also got a few charms for Morgans sampler and I love the Angel chart. It is Friday!

And...I feel horrible. The pollen down here is horrible. I woke up this morning with a headache, watery eyes, plugged sinus and nose and a throat full of junk! I think it is because I was outside on the patio soaking up some sun and quiet and pollen! Remind me not to spend beautiful days outside! I did pretty much finish the mistletoe square with the exception of the berries...forgot the floss and can't see the difference in the Lt golds and tans with the thread that came with it. So I will do them when I get home. I did start the Santa square.

The Cavaliers LOST by a whole lot...and that makes me so peed off! I was really hoping for a good game...but ...the Cavs gave it away totally gift wrapped with cake and party favors!! Way to go CAVS...I hope the party is over and that you will show up and PLAY on SUNDAY! Have a great day stitching huggerz laurel

Is It Friday ...yet?

Today was a bit like yesterday. I did stitch on the patio in the sun...which for some reason or another ...my bones feel a bit better from it. I am almost done with the Mistletoe square and will start the Santa square next.

Tonight is game 3 of the Cavs VS Washington ...I plan on stitching during the game. I just love the playoffs...you see a lot of good basketball during those games.

Well off to see if I can get some stitching done ... or not. I think I am going to watch the Land Before Time with the kids. have a great day stitching huggerz laurel

Wednesday

I am visiting with Brittany and family. The weather here is just beautiful. Brittany babysits 2 little kids and to be truthful...these kid have had no discipline and do not listen....I have no clue as to how she handles it! I can't wait till nap time! lol I did do a bit of stitching on the mistletoe block yesterday. I haven't been in the mood to stitch today. I am afraid I may stick myself with a needle with all the noise, and I don't know if I brought band aides. Maybe when the kids nap...I will sit on the swing and stitch. Tuesday

I will be heading to Xenia sometime this week to take Kaidyn home. She wanted to stay and visit a few days longer. Her mom went home on Sunday. I did get a couple stitches in yesterday. When you have a little one around the stitching takes a back seat to reading a story book. I did manage to sew together 3 pair of shorts for her and then Bethannie took her and the shorts shopping for a shirt to match. I am going to head to Walmart when I get there and get a pattern that will fit Baylee, because the lady bug shorts I made her is Kaidyn's size and it will be a year before she can wear them! I am going to measure Braylon and then buy a pattern that is about his size and bigger. That should work!

I just got an e-mail saying that my material for the Christmas stockings is on the way! So next week I will be starting the stockings that are pictures above!!
