Afghan WIP

I have been working on several things at one time. I don't know about everyone else..but..I am not seeing too much progress when I do that. Last night I just worked on Jayson's afghan. I need to get this one done because I need to see progress. If I don't see progress, I feel like I am just chasing my tail! lol This morning Jayson's afghan is 47" X 32"! I am showing some progress! Oh yes...I got a job!

I am working with Seniors. I work every other Sunday with a stroke patient and 4 days a week with an older lady that has arthritis. I dearly love the senior population. They have seen so much history and to hear them talk about it. Well my lady went into the hospital Wed and had surgery last night and will be in rehab for a couple weeks, poor thing. I am hoping that I will get some fill in hours this week. If not I will stay home and maybe crochet a few hats(on the side) for Genises House. I am also going to make some hats to send out in a couple care packages. I also have a couple of scarves to make. They make up quick and are great projects to take out. Well off for now...need to make a bit of lunch and maybe run the sweeper. It is raining cats and dogs right now...if it were a bit colder we could have snow!!!!! Love my snowmen!

Chrissy: Would you like for me to do a larger afghan for Jacob? If so...what colors would he like?

Scarf WIP

Here is a better picture of the scarf that I am working on for Annie's daughters. The lavender one is done ...still need to put fringe on it and the other has yet to be started! I would love to make an afghan out of this yarn...but it is way to expensive for that, but it is so soft!

Later today I am hoping to drop my stockings off to my friend Cheri so she can get started on them. I also want to run to River Bend Stitchery to pick up the Tour De Stitch passes. Not sure if I will get anything done today like planned...with this darned sore throat! The weather gets cooler and I get sick...just what I need! Have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

They weren't supposed to leave till Friday! My son will be flown out to the ship at a later date because he had knee surgery at the end of last month. He is still recovering. What have I been doing?

Well I have been working on several things at one time. The Britty Kitty Halloween Ornament ,which would have been done by now...except for 2 other things! A rectangle camo and brown afghan and a scarf for one of Annie's daughters (England). I am using Bernat yarn for the scarf cause I want it to be nice and soft! So that's what I am up to....lol. Oh yes...been up to other things, but, not telling!

Yep...THE BROWNS STUNK YESTERDAY.... But that isn't any different then pre-season...they stunk all through that too. Is this what I have to look forward to this season? That is more depressing than the Indians loosing the World Series...opps...did they even play in the World Series? Yep...that is what we people on the North Coast have to look forward to. The economy is crap, the jobs are even more crappy, that is if you can find anything, and our sports teams are the worst! I wonder what the Cavaliers are going to throw at us? The Cleveland Sinkers should be their new name!!! I would like to look forward to a better season...maybe they will win one for the Gipper? They are already at the bottom ..so the only place they have is to go up! I wonder if they will ever blame the coach ...it seams that Romeo isn't doing all he should. So who is to blame? I am just a fan hooked on brown and orange....but this season it won't take much to change me to a blue color team...not much at all. SO.....COME ON BROWNS....I am not getting any younger and I would like to see a winning season before I kick the bucket.

another finish and a WIP

I started "Pray More" Thursday and finished it Friday. This was a freebe chart from "4 My Boys". Sometimes I need to be reminded to do this. I may hang it on the tree this Christmas. Then I started the Britty Kitty yesterday and have gotten the kitty part done. I will try to get this one done right away..so I can do the chart "Jesus is the reason for the season" next!!!
