A beautiful sunny day!

It is just beautiful out today. This is what all OHIO has been waiting for, a beautiful sunny day. Makes me feel like I am human! Then I get up and realize my pains are still there! Well at least my head feels like a spring chicken, even if my body says I am an old hen! I made some progress on my baseball WIP yesterday. Yahoo! I really hope to put a big dent into this chart today. The Indians play at 4:05 and that gives me reason to stitch! I have done some of the dishes, and will finish them after I sit for a few minutes. I have a load of laundry in the washer and I swept up the dirt from a plant that I dropped! I seem to make more messes for me to clean up. I even opened a window a crack in hopes that the SPRING air will lift my spirits! I can't wait till someone mows their lawn and the first cutting of an alfalfa field, it's like a breath of fresh air! Must be that old farmers daughter in me! I plan on planting some field corn next to my fence. My daughters boyfriend farms and I will get about 20 kernels from him. Then in the fall I have my own cornstalks for the mail box! I am also hoping my sunflowers will sprout early. I hope there were some in the ground that the birds missed last fall. Well off to finish the dishes and make a bit for lunch. huggs and stitches laurel
Oh yes...I even went to River Bend Stitchery for a few Crescent colors this morning. I think I could do some serious damage to my check book in there!

In Xenia, Ohio

I am in Xenia today. I drove down yesterday to spend a couple of days with my youngest daughter and her family. Kaidyn and Braylon are growing like weeds! I worked a few stitches on my baseball SAL last night and plan to work on it some more today. Can not watch Indians games down here because we are in Cincinnati Reds area! But I watched the news last night and the Indians won! I am hoping to watch a Cavaliers game down here tonight...at least I hope they will show it! I feel like I am going through withdraws! Well I hope everyone gets some stitching done today. huggerz and stitches Laurel

March ornament is done

I finished this Sam Sarah chart last night, after the baseball game! I will be adding the 2 hearts to it as soon as I get them. I decided not to do the ground underneath them cause that would make it a larger ornament. So now I need to get it finished. I have a 4 ornaments that need the backs put on so that they can hang on the tree. I am going to start my Bride's Tree SAL April ornament this week...just need to pull threads!

I did start my Baseball SAL yesterday! The Cleveland Indians won! I got the entire border and the white border on it. I am very pleased with it. Toni...did you get yours started?

The weather outside is cooling down and very windy...my Internet has been out most of the day. The guy just left and said he hopes it is fixed! So do I! LOL

Christmas Ornament SAL

Here is how far I have gotten on my March ornament. I hope to finish it by April 1st. I have to put it down today because....today is the Cleveland Indians Home Opener... and I am starting my Cottage Kids baseball chart!
They are calling for rain today and my bones and joins feel it. I wish they could come up with a medicine that would take some of the pain away...maybe a can of SUNSHINE would help. I know I would be first in line with many others to try it. have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

Button and charm Question

I have a question... Where is the best place to look and buy buttons and charms for Lizzie Kate and Bent Creek, or for most charts? I tend to buy a chart, but not the buttons and charms because I have no clue if I will ever do the chart. The cost of buttons are pretty high and if i don't do the chart then I have these buttons and charms sitting around, just waiting to get lost in my stash. Well...now I have a few charts that I have done and can not find the buttons and charms at the local shop. So I thought I would look on-line. Have no clue where to look. SO I NEED SOME HELP! PLEASE! Thank you in advance. Huggerz and stitches Laurel
I can not find 10 tiny white buttons and the liberty bell charm for this Lizzie Kate. I have lots more that need buttons and charms!
