Where is the time going?

I can't believe it is the 13Th of November already! I have so much to get done before the end of year. I have 2 boxes to get sent out to the ship and one to Irac and one to Dani. Not sure as to what I am going to put in them yet. I have alot of Christmas ornaments to put together and get sent on their way. I found out that the stockings are done and need to pick them up from my friend Cherie. I guess I just feel overwhelmed at the moment! Overwhelmed???? that is probably an understatement!!! Anyway.....I still need to get 2 birthday gifts for Jayson and Morgan...I think the party is Sunday...I will have to check on that. Then I need to get a birthday gift for Braylon, his birthday is Dec 17Th. Then I guess I should start thinking about Christmas gifts for all the kids. I am usually done by October....I think the older I get the further I get behind! My Mom's birthday is Dec 8Th and then Jamie's birthday is Dec 29...... Holy cow...this really makes me crazy. So I am just going to sit down and stitch and crochet and deal with all this another day!

Here is a picture of Jacob and Baylee. Can you believe that Santa is already here for pictures? This year Jacob is smiling and I can't believe Baylee isn't scared! This is a really cute picture.

Well I need to get and do a bit of crochet. I am making hats for kids. The VFW is collecting them to give to a local school. They had 3 cases of frostbite last year. A lot of kids walk to school and and do not have hats or gloves. It gets pretty cold up here on the lake in the winter. Have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

Baby blanket and hat finish

Here is a picture of the baby blanket and hat that I made for one of Bethannie's co-workers. I think it is beautiful! I love the white ruffle! It is a granny square design. I have 2 baby blankets started one is a V-stitch and the other is a half shell. I also got started on the new baby sampler. The new baby will be here in January. Brittany wants a pastel green, lavender and white baby blanket instead of pink. So I also need to get started on that too. I also have some ornaments done..so hopefully I will get a chance to get pictures taken and posted. And on top of everything I am one year older and ache like I am 100! On the way home today they had snow flurries North of Columbus and then more north of Ashland. It is now winter in OHIO! Have a great day stitching! Stay warm! God Bless our Military! huggers laurel

Hello

I know it's been awhile since I have blogged. I am getting ready to head NORTH today. Back home where I belong! I have been visiting Brittany and kids for the weekend. I have been busy stitching ornaments and baby blankets! Bethannie's camera quit but I will find a way to put pictures up. I finished a pink and white granny square baby blanket Friday and Saturday I made the baby hat to go with it. I have finished a couple more stitched angels and I have 2 baby blankets started. I still need to send Annie's the hats and scarves I have made and I haven't gotted Baylee's sweater sent out. I am sure behind! I hope to get things boxed up when I get home today.
