ABC Christmas Sampler WIP and a new baby blanket finish!

I borrowed Bethannie's camera to take a couple pictures to show my WIP and baby blanket finish! The WIP in progress was taken yesterday (check June 28 to see how far I have gotten!)and I finished another baby blanket for Kelsey yesterday. You can never have enough blankets when you live in Northern Ohio! I made up the blanket as I went along.



My shoulder still aches...but feeling a bit better today. This is the shoulder that was messed up in a car accident 32 years ago. It seems to get worse every year. When it starts to act up it usually is painful for 3-4 days then it goes back to a normal ache. Normal? What exactly is normal pain? Just means it doesn't ache as much. The rest of my body is in the normal ache pain level. Tolerable...but wish it would go away. Well of to fold clothes and stitch a little on the ABC Christmas. I need to get caught up on my Christmas ornaments too! Here's to a good stitch day! Huggerz laurel

What a rainy, crappy day this has been. My right shoulder down to my wrist hurts just horrible! Enough of this pain...I need to get on with my stitching and crocheting! I bought a battery for my camera....I don't think it was the battery...it still doesn't work. Now I need to figure out how to buy a new camera, or perhaps see if I can get the one I have fixed? Yeah....another fine day!
Brittany and the kids and dog came up for a visit. I am kinda hopping Jamie has her baby, while they are here. Her blood pressure is still high and she has stretch marks on her feet...really big feet! Well off for now. Gotta watch Shark Tales with the grandkids. If I ever get Bethannies camera stuff uploaded into the computer...I may even have some WIP pictures. Huggers laurel

When it rains it pours! In my case....it might as well snow!

What a day today was. The air conditioner broke and it cost 79 dollars to have a guy come out and say you need a motor...yep, I knew that much, and that will cost another 289 dollars. Shoot fire...is it painted in gold? It is a generic motor and if I want a real one it will cost 372 dollars. So...is the generic motor not a real motor? Am I paying 289 dollars for a fake motor? The guy must think I am a dumb blonde...of course I don't want a fake motor that doesn't run...da...I want the fake one that does run!!!!!!!

OK with that out of the way I decided to sweep my floors. I ran over a cord that I borrowed from Jamie to plug in my old cell phone and the sweeper ate 3/4 of it and ripped it apart! Holy Cow....my phone has one bar on it and I can't plug it in. I pulled the remainder of the cord out of the sweepers mouth and unplugged the other and set it on my desk...sure hope Curt can fix it. My sweeper ate it's own cord several time and has lots of black tape on it. I think my sweeper sucks!

My new phone is supposed to be here last FRIDAY. Well it kind of was here, cept they sent me a blue phone without the back and a battery and my phone is red. I called and explained what the problem was and the guy said OK...what do you want? Well send me white sticker stars and strips and I will have a red, white, and blue phone. He said he would send me a red phone and I would get it MONDAY. Monday came ...no phone. Called and asked where it was and the lady said...it was never ordered! So now she has ordered it and it should be here WEDNESDAY! We will see! She credited my account a month...if the phone comes I will be happy and surprised! Oh yes...when I called and complained about my phone messing up several times before....they credited my account...2 different times...so I guess I should remain patient!

Stitching: I finished the "S" for Santa block and have started the "T" for Tree block today. I have the "X" and "Y" blocks left to do. I hope to have this all cross stitched by the end of the weekend and then I will only have back stitching and beads to do.
SO HERE IS TO MY TUESDAY...GLAD IT IS ALMOST OVER. BRING ON WEDNESDAY...I AM BORED! HUGGERZ AND STITCHES laurel

Rainy Monday!

I think OHIO is turning into a rain forest! I did make myself stitch today, the rain makes me want to sleep! I will post a picture after I buy a new battery for the camera. It went dead over the weekend and for some reason will not re-charge. It is not a very cheap battery...$27.oo plus change and tax at best buy. yuck! But gotta have it...the baby could be here anytime. Her due date is July 14.

Stormy Sunday

We had a few storms come through today. I am so sick of all this water! I guess that's what happens with global warming...the ice melts and puts more water in the atmosphere ...so we get more rain. It sure does make the grass grow! I got up and did up dishes this morning and swept floors and then with that done...I STITCHED! I stitched all day and watched the ball game. We lost again! I will post a picture of the ABC Sampler tomorrow. Jamie stopped over and I had her pick out stocking charts that she wanted for the baby (Kelsey due July 14) and for Morgan. I have too many to choose from so thought I would let her figure it out for me. She picked out Snowman swirls by Bent Creek for Kelsey and the Angel chart by Lizzie Kate for Morgan. I had originally picked out the angel chart for Morgan, then I had more charts to choose from and lost my ability to decide!!! lol Well off to put my stitching away and watch the news (weather). have a great night stitching. huggerz laurel
