Stocking finish!

I finished Curts Christmas Stocking last night. Instead of beads I used gold thread. Curt is my son-in-law and is married to my Jamie. I couldn't find anything I liked so I put together a couple of patterns...one is from a booklet dated 1989. I may still add a few stars, but need to look at it for awhile to see if it really needs them or not.

Below are pictures of the Lake Erie Sunset, that I took Saturday Night! This out the back door where I work. I just had to take a picture....

Busy, Busy and more BUSY!

Lets see....Cross stitch stuff: I am currently working on my son-in-law's Christmas Stocking and I am almost done. I hope to finish the design today and then tomorrow look for an alphabet that I like and stitch his name on. I am totally finished with the ABC Christmas Sampler.....all the beads and french knots and today it was soaked in the sink and is now drying on the table. I will measure it tomorrow and then start looking for the right frame to frame it in. I painted 2 frames last week and framed Brittany's "Friends, Family and Traditions" last night. I will be framing Jamie and Curts "I DO" today sometime too. So...I have been busy with my stitching! I need to find a baby sampler real soon...that baby will be here in Sept! I also need to get the baby burp cloths done! I think I will see if Jamie can help me like Brittany and Brian did with theirs!

On the sports stuff: I have been so sick to my stomach watching the Cavaliers play the Magic....and last night the Cavs LOST! So no more intense games to watch. So now I can concentrate on the "TRIBE"! For Maggie....GO LAKERS!!!!!!!

On the work stuff: Been working, working and more working> I love my job! I figure the more hours I do the more cross stitch I can buy and leave to my kids! Oh yes...need a dryer too!

On Basket weaving: Am not happy to say...I haven't done any of that this year. I really need to change that. I need to get Brittany and Jamie together and get them done this summer!

Ohio has had some really nice weather this spring. I work up by the lake and the lake is so pretty in the evening and the sunrises are beautiful. The water fowl are beautiful and the Bald Eagles are magnificent! Mama fox has had her babies and the geese eggs have hatched! Lots of goslings running around. I haven't seen Mrs. Raccoon lately, she is probably taking care of her babies too! God sure has blessed us with a beautiful world!.
