Baby blanket finish and ornament

I finished the baby blanket for Jamie. Jamie is Jayson's mom (my 2ND daughter), and is due next month with a little girl. I figured I should get er done. I would like to do a few more blankets, but, they can wait till the fall, or be do in between cross stitch projects.


I also did a quick Lizzie Kate Christmas Ornament called PEACE. I put some white beads on it at the top, but you can't see them very well. I also worked on the "John Deere" curtains for Bethannie's boyfriend, Charlie. They are for his country farm house kitchen. Charlie is a farmer and a volunteer fireman. I have been getting him John Deere stuff for his kitchen over the past few years. Bethannie bought the fabric a week ago.

As far as my car...2 broken front springs $150.00, 2 struts $80.00, 2 mounts(for the struts, I think) $54.00 and free labor(son-in-law)! Just what I wanted to spend my roof money on! yeah!!!! Yeppers...a very crappy week. I could have spent that on cross stitch stuff too!!!!!

Home Sweet Home!

I get to sleep in my own big, big, bed! Well for tonight anyway and then I am heading out to see CJ and his family. I can't wait to see Baylee and Jacob!



I started a baby blanket for Jamie's baby (Kelsey Lee). She is due in July! Awwww yes and Brittany and Brian are expecting in Feb. She just found out yesterday, when she went to the doc. I really have to poor on the steam to get my stitching done!

Well I need to go and pack.....and this time I am taking more stitching! lol I will never leave home again with out a ton of projects to do!! SO off to pack my stitching and sewing. huggerz laurel

Baby blanket finish!

What a good day! I finished the blanket last night and today I put the white trim on it. This is for Sarah's baby. Kaidyn is modeling the blanket for me! It's been a week tomorrow with her eye and it is starting to look better!

I think I might head back to Northern Ohio tomorrow afternoon (not sure yet). The drama continues as the lady tried to hit Brittany's car as Brittany had backed out the drive and was going forward and she came around the corner and saw her and sped up. This woman is about to get her self into a lot of trouble if she doesn't straighten up! OH WELL...I guess she needs to really grow up.

Well off to start another baby blanket for Jamie's baby, using the color "newborn" yarn.

Cody and Kaidyn. I gave Cody a haircut a few weeks ago...not to good! lol It is growing back!


I didn't know that I would get Braylon's stocking done so quick, so I went to Michaels and bought some baby yarn and started a baby blanket. I had planned to be home by now, but, due to all the drama, I stayed and will be going home tomorrow afternoon (I think)! Anyway, I have a few charts that I could have started but, did not want to pay for floss at Michaels. I have so much floss at home, I just couldn't bring myself to buy more. Since I have a granddaughter due in July, I thought I had better get a few blankets done. Brittany wants me to make one for her sister-in-law's baby due in August, she is having a girl. Sarah has 2 boys and her mom gave all her baby stuff away, including the crib! She is starting all over again!
We didn't have any entertainment from the neighbors last night, it was a very quiet night for us. We actually got some sleep.
