Jacob's Christmas Ornament

I am now done with my grand kids ornaments. I will be taking some time to put them together soon. I love the way they stitched up and the kids will love them for years to come. Last Christmas, Kaidyn showed me her ornaments several times and was excited about "her" ornaments. My kids still use their ornaments on their trees. So until I am unable to stitch...the grand kids will get ornaments every year. Well off to work a bit on an afghan I started. It is a rectangle granny square and I am quite excited to have found the pattern on a crochet board. Have a great night stitching. huggerz laurel

Jayson's Christmas Ornament

I finished Jayson's Christmas Ornament today! Now I will start on Jacob's ornament an then I can start finishing them for their trees. I went in for a "drug" test and could not pee. So I sat there and drank about 8 cups of water and stitched on Jayson's ornament! lol I don't leave the house without my stitching...and sometimes it pays off! After I "gave" all I could I stopped by the bus stop to watch Jayson and Morgan get off the bus. Today was their first day of kindergarten! Jayson said he had a fun day and Morgan said she was good and didn't have to go to the principals office. LOL So all in all today wasa very good day!

Happy Labor Day!

Sorry I have not posted. I am stitching on Jayson's cowboy with a broom snowman ornament. Then I will be stitching Jacob's snowman ornament. Then I think the ornaments will be ready to finish. I plan on taking the stockings to my friend Cheri this week, for her to finish for me. Cheri did 12 of my stockings way back in 1986 and then she did the first 3 grandchildern's stockings. I am dropping all 5 off...I can't remember if I told her 5 or not. OH NO.......SURPRISE! lol

Toni and I are thinking that next year should be...ALL THINGS LIZZIE KATE, LITTLE HOUSE NEEDLEWORKS AND hummmm......I can't remember. So...stay tuned for our next year stitchings. Toni is working on #7 Christmas stocking! Go Toni!!!!!

The Tour De Stitch is coming up this October. Check out River Bend Stitchery to find out more about that. I believe Toni and I are going to do all of the East side of Ohio shops this year. Toledo and Finlay are way too far West to include. So here we go buying more important stash!

Family news:

CJ had knee surgery last Friday and things went well. He will be spending some well deserved time with his family. Baylee will be 1 year old next month!

Brittany, Brian and kids were here for a few days visiting. They are now back home in southern Ohio. Kaidyn starts pre-school tomorrow.

Jamie, Curt and kids: All is going well. Jayson and Morgan's FIRST day of Kindergarten is tomorrow! Kelsey is up to 10#'s now.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day. Have a great September stitching huggerz laurel
