Baby sitting!

I was babysitting tonight, just had Morgan and Kelsey cause Jayson went with his other grandma to a wedding. It went pretty good as Morgan played with her Wenkinz and I played with Kelsey. Here is a picture of Kelsey. She is a chub and is 7 months old now.

I did get a chance to work on the "Princess Parade" this week, I think it is going to be just beautiful! LOL

Well off for now. The kids have gone home and I have to work in the AM. Have a great weekend stitching! Huggerz laurel

Just stitching!

I have been working on "Little Ballerinas" this week and am getting along pretty good. I also have been babysitting the past 2 nights and will sit again tomorrow night. I think I am getting too old to do all this sitting. I thought it was going to keep my young...but...I am seeing some added sheet lines (wrinkles) on my face that Oil of Old Lady isn't doing too well with them. I think Oil of Old Lady feeds them and they multiply!!!! I think I may have to buy crack cream and and that stuff theyuse when fixing drywall... to smooth out my face! Well off of here so I can feed my Webkins and go to bed! Have a great day stitching Huggerz laurel

Home again

Here is a picture of Miss Addisyn. Mom and baby are doing better. Brittany got a spinal headache and has felt crummy since the birth. Addison went for a new baby check up and gained 3 ounces. The little hat was knitted by Britts friend Erica, it is just adorable! I have to find time to relearn how to knit!

Well off for now...need some sleep! I told Brittany I have to go back to work...after being down there with Kaidyn(4) and Braylon(1)..work will be like a vacation!

New project started

Here is the baby sampler with name and stats. I have to wash and press it and I still want to add a few beads here and there. But it is pretty much done. The baby is doing fine. Mommy is a bit sore and we think she has a spinal headache. Brian took both to the doc today and I am watching Kaidyn amd Braylon. Braylon is still not sure about his new sister and only comes to look at her when she cries. He is still their baby boy!

I started a new project this morning! It's called "Little Ballerinas" by Country Cottage Needleworks. This is a SAL with Toni...but I don't think she is doing it yet! lol

Well off for now. have a great day stitching. huggerz laurel

Sampler

Today I finally found the time to put Addison's name on her birth sampler. I furnished the last name as Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl! I am going to add some beads to it and then I will call it done. Kaidyn loves Addison's sampler and says that it is prettier than her sampler! Guess I need to do that Ballerina chart next. I will post a picture tomorrow...I need to go buy the beads when I get home.

New Finish!

Here is a picture of my new finish and the beginning of another one. This went pretty fast and I am planning on doing the Simplify chart as well. These are for Brittany and Chrissy. Brittany has decided that she would like to have the Angel Stocking by Lizzie Kate for the new baby. I will probably get started on the this summer, you never know when they might come out with some new charts! Well off to stitch. The Cavaliers play tonight and we are suppose to get 11 to 17 inches of snow in the next 24 hours! Shoot fire..... more snow! I do like snow ...but I like it to come one flake at a time....not by the truckload! Have a great night stitching. huggerz laurel

Baby Sampler WIP

I am thinking just one more day of back stitching, french knots and lazy daisy's and this will be ready for the name and stats! But probably not today, I am babysitting Kelsey and Morgan. Maybe tonight if I can stay awake! I think I need to start thinking about the next project! I will have to stitch another baby sampler for a baby due in September. That means 2 more Christmas stockings this year and more crocheted baby blankets! Well off for now Morgan needs to add a Hippo to her Webkinz place and maybe while she is in there she can earn some money! Have a great day stitching Huggerz laurel

Baby Sampler progress

Another day and more progress made. I am extremely happy at the progress I am making. I felt like I was way behind and a bit stressed, but now I feel a lot better.

Today Brittany found out that little Addisyn will be born sometime after 3PM on Jan 29Th. She is not happy cause she will have to go all day with no food, and, Kaidyn and Braylon may not be able to see their new sister till the next day. Braylon can't stay awake after 6:30 PM and Kaidyn goes to bed when the sun goes down! LOL So unless she goes into labor this date is written on paper!

Baby Sampler WIP

Sat morning sunrise.

Here is a picture of the baby sampler thus far.

Home Sweet Home!

Well back home again. Up north in all the snow. Had a good time at Kaidyns house. Too short of a stay, but I will be going back down in another week. The new baby will be here! Here is a picture of Brittany and the new baby bump known as Addisyn.

Daddy and Braylon

Braylon and Kaidyn

While I was there Kaidyn helped me make muffins. She did all the work and taste testing! I think she will make a good Betty Crocker lady! I think she had to do a couple of taste tastes and then after they were baked she had to taste the final results. LOL

Have a great day stitching....I hope to do some of that yet today! Huggerz laurel

Down South for the weekend!

I will be heading back North here in a couple hours. Came down to spend a night with Kaidyn and Braylon. Not much stitching has gotten done but we did make chocolate chip muffins. Kaidyn did all the work! They had some sleet overnight, but as for snow..they don't have much. I was informed over the phone that we got another 4 inches at home. Yahoo! MORE SNOWMAN PARTS! Well I need to check on my Webkinz (Noel) maybe pull out the stitching. have a great day huggers Laurel

Today was a cookie dough day.....

If it didn't get ate...it got baked! I think when it was all said and done, there were 12 cookies on the plate and a couple teaspoons of dough in a plastic baggie for later! It was chocolate chip cookie dough straight out of a bag.....had to add butter and egg. I hate cooking!!!

The weather outside is too cold for the snowmen! The snow doesn't even pack into a ball! Boo-Hiss. The only thing this weather is good for is staying inside stitching. Well any kind of weather is an excuse to stay inside and stitch!!! But this below 0 degree is good enough for me. So today I did a bit of stitching and baby sitting Kelsey and since she was good, I stitched while she spit up all over her toys! She is such a good girl, she didn't even complain about the spit! LOL I wasn't a happy me-maw when I had to clean it all up. Oh well ...she was still good!

So here is my WIP picture. Have a great day and try to stay warm. I love SNOW but hate the COLD! huggerz laurel
